Pantera estió una colla de heavy metal estatounitense formato en Arlington, Texas, en l'anyo 1981. Anque publicoron o suyo primer album en l'anyo 1983, no se dioron a conoixer dica siet anyos más tardi quan publicoron l'album Cowboys from Hell. Dende iste inte, Pantera estió un d'os grupos de heavy metal más influyents d'a decada d'os 90.
Debito a los conflictos internos entre os miembros d'o grupo, Pantera desapareixe en l'anyo 2003. L'anyo siguient, o guitarrista y fundador d'o grupo, Dimebag Darrell fue asasinato d'un tiro mientres actuaba en un concierto con o suyo nuevo grupo, Damageplan.
