Amhrán na bhFiann (The soldier's song en anglés, A canta d'o soldato en aragonés) ye l'himno nacional d'a Republica d'Irlanda. Peadar Ó Cearnaigh (Peadar Kearney en anglés), tío de l'escritor Brendan Behan, y Patrick Heeney en composoron a musica, y as parolas orichinals en anglés son d'o mesmo Peadar Ó Cearnaigh. Dimpués, Liam Ó Rinn faría a traducción a l'irlandés, estando-ne a versión que actualment se i fa servir.
A canta, composata en 1907 tien tres estrofas y l'estrebiello; l'himno -adoptato en 1926- solo que l'estrebiello. Se publicó por primera vegada en o periodico Irish Freedom (Libertat irlandesa u Libertat d'Irlanda) en 1912 d'a man de Bulmer Hobson. A traducción de Liam Ó Rinn data de 1923.
I ha tamién bella polemica en a identificación de l'himno nacional irlandés con o partito politico "Fianna Fáil", creyato por Éamon de Valera en 1926, por o primer verso de l'himno.[1]
En Irlanda, antis d'o "Amhrán na bhFiann", o fenián "God save Ireland" (Dios salve Irlanda) yera l'himno d'os nacionalistas irlandeses, encara que no estando-ie oficial.
